Now before this date of interview comes, need to collect all these documents mentioned below at the time of application. These are:
Valid passport, must be valid for around 6 months minimum at the time of lodgement of visa.

Need to get DS 160 US Visa Application confirmation online with page stamped for the same.
Need to provide proof of fee payment with a valid receipt.
Since interview is for everyone, need to have a printout of interview appointment letter in hand.
Need to have all documents which are related to no criminal offence (like Police Clearance Certificate) and should also have valid and nice reason to go and visit USA (Like visiting friends or family or having hotel bookings etc.)
Need to have sufficient funds to show that you can manage your trip and come back.
Also it will be good if you show that you have good financials, business or job etc which will let them know that you have good reason to come back to your home country.
Not mandatory but will be good if you take an invitation letter if you have, or your property in your name documents etc to prove you are going to come back to your home country.
If you are going just to visit or for pleasure, it will be great if you provide travel dates with itinerary or your plan of work.
Bank statements, tax returns, copy of passbook etc. Along with Tax ID, PAN ID, tax returns etc will help to prove the financial status of the applicant and family.
Better to provide your visiting card like you are employed in which company or self-employed and your position
