Working Holiday Visa
This visa is for young people who want to holiday and Working Holiday Visa for Australia for a year. Stay in Australia for 12 months
Work in Australia for six months with each employer
Study for up to four months
Leave and re-enter Australia many times whilst visa is valid.
You will need a valid passport or travel document for this visa. If you need to get a new passport, then you should do this before applying for the visa. You cannot apply for working holiday visa if you have another visa that has a No further stay condition. The government will let working holiday visa holders to apply for a second working holiday visa if they have worked with a specified worker in Australia for three months. When you make applications for a second working holiday visa you can either be onshore or offshore in Australia. The working holiday visa programme has a special forces on helping employers in Australia to meet short-term employment needs. On your working holiday visa you can do any type of lawful work including full-time, part-time, and causal, shift and voluntary work.
A working holiday visa can normally be issued in around six days. Second working holiday visa can take up to 14-21 days to process. Processing times can be affected by completeness of applications made and different checks made by visa officers, such as health and character checks. On working holiday visa application you must show that you have access to sufficient funds to support yourself for the initial stage of your holiday. You must also have a return ticket or the funds available to depart Australia.
