School Visa (Subclass 571)
Australia School Sector Visa (Subclass 571) is designed for international students who wish to study in Australia. It is only valid when education provider, where applicant is taking admission, is registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). This visa allows visa holders to stay in Australia.
This is the visa for those who:
Are enrolled as a student in the primary or a secondary school.
Or are participating in the secondary school exchange programme.
This visa will help the students to:
Study in Australia.
An eligible family member of the student can accompany the student in Australia.
When the student has commenced the course to study in Australia, have the right to work part-time, i.e. upto 40 hours per fortnight when the study is going on, and when there are vacations or holidays, then have the right to work unlimited hours.
Also the family member have the right to work full time, but for that they have to first apply for “Permission to Work”
Australia School Visa is the visa that will allow you to stay in Australia for the duration of the course and while the course is going on, all the students have the right to move out of Australia multiple times, there is no issue for the same or no limitations. If the student has a family member to stay with them while the study is going on, then the family member also have the same number of days to stay in Australia, as the same length that the student has and also the family member cannot stay in Australia while the student has left the country.
