Skilled Nominated Visa is for those foreign skilled workers who have been nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency to work in Australia with permanent residence permit in an occupation on skilled occupation list.
To become eligible to apply under this visa stream, you need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). In this application, you need to provide details regarding your education qualification, professional skills, work experience, English language proficiency and the reason why you want to work in Australia. The selection process includes a point-based system, in which your EOI is ranked against EOIs of other applicants. The points are awarded based on the details you provided in your EOI. The highest ranked EOIs are then sent a letter of invitation to apply for subclass 190 visa.
While applying for subclass 190 visa you must provide following proofs.
You are below 50 years of age
You are nominated for an occupation on skilled occupation list
You are competent in English
You have at least achieved the minimum score required for the position you are nominated for
Subclass 190 allows you to bring your dependent family members to Australia. Initially the visa remains valid for 5 years, after which you need to apply for resident return visa or another valid visa. While your subclass 190 visa is valid, you and can your family members can study and work in Australia without restrictions.
